![]() ![]() Resolve is a one-time payment deal with a perpetual license. It should not impact any of your existing projects and settings. DaVinci Resolve is split into two products, Studio and Free, with the Free version encompassing a lot of what the Studio version has to offer, but is ultimately hamstrung by deliberate hardware and software limits to convince you to shift over to Studio at some point. Hopefully that will solve the issue for you. DaVinci Resolve lets you work faster and at a higher quality because you dont have to learn multiple apps or switch software for different tasks. ![]() If that doesn't find anything, and it normally doesn't, then it asks if you have a problem installing or uninstalling an app. Run the app, It will do a detecting problems step. For the Studio version, install davinci-resolve-studio AUR or davinci-resolve-studio-beta AUR. ![]() For the free version, install davinci-resolve AUR or davinci-resolve-beta AUR. Both a limited free version and a paid (Studio) version are offered. Uninstall issues like this can normally be solved with a Microsoft FixIt app that helps with un-installing apps in this situation. Davinci Resolve is a proprietary video editor, color correction and compositing application. You could try the Microsoft Install/Uninstall Fixit, and that would likely work: If you've already tried some other method to uninstall or remove Resolve and it no longer will launch, and is not in the Programs and Features list, then that's an unfortunate situation. If the free Resolve version still launches and runs, it HAS to be in the Apps & features list, or the Programs and Features panel as Charles screen shot shows. ![]()
